I provide an open-access endoscopy service as well as a consultation service. All patients require a referral from their GP for these services

GASTROSCOPY AND COLONOSCOPY
Gastroscopy – Evaluation of swallowing difficulties (dysphagia), dyspepsia/abdominal pain, Helicobacter pylori, coeliac disease
Colonoscopy – Evaluation of altered bowel habit, rectal bleeding, screening colonoscopy for family history of colorectal cancer or colonic polyps, positive faecal occult blood testing, polyp surveillance, assessment of inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis
Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy – Evaluation of weight loss, iron deficiency, anemia, abdominal pain/bloating, abnormal imaging findings
GASTROENTEROLOGY
Management of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, swallowing disorders, dyspepsia, treatment-resistant Helicobacter pylori, epigastric/abdominal pain and bloating
Management of irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatic insufficiency, chronic constipation and diarrhoea
HEPATOLOGY
Management of abnormal liver function tests or liver mass seen on imaging studies.
Management of viral hepatitis (HBV, HCV), alcohol-related liver disease, fatty liver disease, autoimmune liver disease, cirrhosis and its complications (e.g. ascites, oesophageal varices, encephalopathy)
